A quick overview
Brad was born and raised in northwest Missouri. After receiving his degree in education in 1999, Brad entered the golf business and worked as an assistant professional for several years. He was elected to PGA membership in 2004 and was awarded the Acushnet Apprentice Scholarship presented by Titleist, Cobra, and Foot Joy for the Midwest Section PGA in 2004. The 2005 golf season was spent at The Club at Porto Cima, a Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, at the Lake of the Ozarks. The following year, Brad moved to Kansas City to work at The Country Club of Leawood. In 2009 Brad moved to Tucson, Arizona to be the Director of Instruction at The Highlands Golf Club at Dove Mountain. Brad and his wife Cassie moved back to Kansas City with their daughter Avery in 2014 for family and career opportunities.
Brad has over 12 years of experience teaching golf to all ages and skill levels and has been playing his entire life. Brad has had success playing at both the amateur and professional level, but now enjoys working with players of all abilities to help them reach their goals in golf. Brad has taught thousands of lessons during his career and his teaching philosophies have developed from working with and studying golf’s most respected teaching professionals. Brad has partnered with V1 Golf Academy for over five years and has recently become one of only four certified FlightScope Instructors in the Kansas City area. Brad looks forward to sharing his knowledge with all golfers, whether new to the game or lifelong players.
Originally from Tipton, Missouri, Wayne was introduced to the game in high school. Throughout the college years and while finding his way as a young adult, Wayne always had a passion for the game of golf. In 2006 at the age of 25 Wayne was hired as an Assistant golf professional at the Sedalia Country Club, and began his journey to PGA Membership.
He worked his way through the apprenticeship program while working at SCC and then later at Highland Springs Country Club (2010-11) and at The Club at Porto Cima (2011). In January 2012 while being elected to membership, Wayne was hired back at Sedalia Country Club to be the Head Professional . He worked there for three years, and is currently still residing in the Sedalia Area.
He has stepped out of the life of a Head Golf Professional to pursue other interests. Wayne will continue to teach and play the game of golf, he remains active in the PGA Midwest section and is passionate about growing the game.
